EVERYONE IS A PHOTOGRAPHER.

We, the Photo Group of Calderara di Reno, are convinced that everyone can make photo's, what means that everyone is a photographer. To demonstrate this, we have organized a photo contest with the theme "My summer 2014", "La mia estate 2014"

Everybody can partecipate: beginning photographers, amateurs and professionals from around the world. The contest begins July 4 and ends on September 21, 2014. Participation is free of charge.

There are two categories:
1. pictures made with a photo camera;
2. pictures made with a mobile smartphone.

The twenty best works in each category will be printed in the format 30 x 40/30 x 45 cm. and will be showed during the exhibition "La mia estate" from 10 to 12 October 2014 at the exhibition area of Calderarte at Piazza 2 Agosto, Calderara di Reno (BO), Italy.

After the exhibition, the forty winners receive the print of their work as a single premium.

All entries will be videoprojected during the exhibition.

NOTIFICATION AND REGULATIONS

The Photo Group Photo Calderara di Reno, which has been present for more than thirty years in the territory of Calderara and which is principally engaged in the development of photographic art, announces a photo contest in digital format "La mia estate 2014" - "My summer 2014."

- The contest theme is "My summer of the year 2014."
- The photographs of the participants in the competition can be sent to the email address lamiaestate@outlook.it from 5 July to 21 September 2014.
- Image files can be in JPEG, PNG and GIF formats, other formats are not allowed. There is no limit to the file size, it is advisable not to send files too big and not more than 5 MB.
- You can participate in 2 categories: 1. Camera; 2. Cellular smartphone.
- Up to SIX pictures will be accepted in all categories.
- Participation is open for professional photographers and amateurs. The photographers younger than 18 years can participate by written consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- Members of the Group Photo Calderara di Reno and those people who are involved in the organisation of the contest can not.
 

EXECUTION OF THE CONTEST RULES

- The aim of the competition is to collect photographic works related to the theme of the competition: "My summer of the year 2014."
- Participants will compete in two categories with a maximum of SIX photographs in each category in digital format.
- It is essential for the participant to registrate with the compilation of the data as required in the registration form. The photo's of the participants must include:
Name and surname of the photographer, title, place and date of capture, address, email and telephone of the participant.
- Every author must declare:
● to be the owner of all rights to the original;
● to be responsible for the choice of the subject;
● authorize the Photo Group of Calderara di Reno eventual publications of selected photographs in a photo gallery on this internet site.
 

RESPONSIBILITY

- Each participant is responsible for the content of their works and declares to have obtained the necessary clearances. The Photo Group of Calderara di Reno is in no way responsible for any claims made ​​by persons who may be appearing in portraits or photographs submitted by the holders of rights to which the request was not necessary release. Works off-topic, of poor quality or indecent will be excluded from the contest.
 

JURY

- The works will be selected at the discretion and without appeal, by a special jury, made ​​up of experts in the field of photographic representation and cultural and members of the Photo Group of Calderara di Reno
- The jury will determine the ranking and will announce the twenty winners in each of the two categories.
 

AWARDS

- The works of the forty winners of the contest will be exhibited during the exhibition "My summer 2014", printed in 30x40 / 30x45 cm. At the end of the event the winners receive the prints of their work.
- The exhibition will be held at exhibition space of Calderarte, Piazza 2 Agosto, Calderara di Reno. The exhibition will take place form October 10, 2014 until 12 October 2014.
- The Photo Group Calderara di Reno is responsable for printing of  the photos and set-up of the exhibition.
